We live in a world where menstruation is treated as a taboo. Menstruating people grow up, learning to be ashamed of their monthly bleeding. We learn to hide hygiene products, blood stains and vulnerability during our menstruation.
But there is so much more than a few days of bleeding. Our cycle consists of different phases that come along with emotional, physiological and hormonal changes.
If society gave us the space, education and acceptance to understand and connect and actually live according to our cycle, the world might be a different place.
What if we felt empowerment instead of shame?
What if we used the presumed vulnerability and burden as a strength?
What if we turned our cycle into our superpower?
